Had an incredible lesson with Gus. His communication and ease of booking the lesson was a great indication on how the lesson itself would go. Gus is incredibly patient and communicative while teaching. He was able to very quickly identify some bad habits and make corrections to my mechanics. By the end of the lesson I felt immediate improvement that I know will only continue to build upon itself as I continue to employ them. We worked hard but the lesson was fun and engaging. It can be intimidating being new at a sport and spending time with an expert, but my experience was the opposite with Thrive. It felt like I was playing with an incredibly knowledgeable advice giving friend, despite meeting for the first time today. I highly recommend Gus/Thrive for any lessons no matter your skillset. He packs a ton of information and skill into an hour with a completely approachable manner.

Gus was an outstanding instructor. I did a lesson with him knowing the basics but was looking to excel to the next level. He gave me constructive criticism in a positive manner. He made the lesson exciting and engaging. He explained the reasons of why he would do this or do that in each situation. He also emphasized that what works for one person may not work for another which is crucial to realize that there is not one set way perform a skill. I highly recommend him and looking forward to my next lesson that I already booked. His facility called PBX in Islip is one of the best around.

Gus was super informative, engaging and help me gain my competitive edge! He pointed out mistakes but would make the fix easy to understand and repeatable. If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
