Hi! I’m Geri, a Spanish court interpreter, born in Teaneck, New Jersey but with my heart and family in Argentina, after having lived there for over 15 years and immersing myself in its vibrant culture. Alongside my interpreting career, I've pursued my passion for music, mastering the piano and accordion. I play with the renowned rock band Rockin’ 1000 whenever I can! Fitness is another cornerstone of my life. I became a Zumba Fitness Instructor in 2010 and have expanded my repertoire to include Group Fitness, Pickleball, Cycling, Aqua Fitness, Hydrorevolution, Pound Fitness, and various other specialties. I'm dedicated to bringing the joy of movement to my students, reflecting the diverse experiences and cultures that shape my life. Now settled in New York, I've found the perfect balance between my love for language, music, and fitness. Join me in one of my classes, and let's move, dance, sweat, and celebrate life together!

I have taken Zumba and other classes with Geri for many years. Her classes are always a so much fun, high energy, great music. As an instructor, Geri is so upbeat and makes you feel great. She's also very knowledgeable about good form, etc... When you take Geri's class, you smile for the rest of the day.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonYou will learn all the rules and how to score. You will learn the basic shots and the strategy behind when to use each one of them.
Lesson 4-10You will start to learn more complex shots and when to use them.
Lesson 2-3You will start to apply the strategies and the shots learned in the first class. You will play games and keep score.
Advanced training plan
What you need to bringJust a good pair of supportive sneakers is enough to start with, along with a smile. I have plenty of equipment. No need for anything unless you prefer your own equipment.
What I can bringNo equipment? No problem! I have plenty of equipment for your class. Training paddles, paddles, balls, nets, line markers, rebounders and games to make for an interesting class I can come to you and build a court for class in your backyard or driveway! I even have indoor equipment that won’t break anything…as long as you have the space!
