While Garrett may have played tennis competitively for 20 years, don’t let him fool you. He is young, energetic, fit, and is extremely sharp with his hands, feet, and strategy when on the pickleball court. I met him at a local park and asked him to play only to realize I challenged someone who has vast amount of elite experiences with racket sports. His mind, strokes, and coaching ability is sharp - I highly recommend anyone of all levels to interact with Garrett - he is great to be around.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIt is all about understanding the student and meeting them with where they are and hearing about where they want to go.
Lesson 11+We will be bringing in more advanced strategies, that may come sooner, depending upon how fast the student progresses
Lesson 4-10Scoring, the court, strategy and mastering the art of the rally is what will be focused on these lessons
Lesson 2-3We will start with the basics and ensure that the strokes and fundamental techniques are taught.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonUnderstanding what the advanced student wants - we will evaluate their level, their strokes and where they want to be.
Lesson 11+By this stage, the goal is to help the student to feel extraordinarily confident in their skills to play in tournaments.
Lesson 4-10Live play will be the bulk of these sessions where we will hone in on dinks, kitchen play, speeding up, defensive strokes, etc.
Lesson 2-3After initial evaluation we will go over some tips to create immediate improvement in their game.
Youth players
Working with kidsHaving taught Nike tennis camps, working with youngsters is one of my passions. I played many racket sports growing up, and I understand how important it is to have guiding coach that makes sessions both fun and meaningful.
Working with teenagersHaving taught teens in racket sports, it is all about ensuring that you are keeping teens engaged. It is awesome to work with youngsters, and lessons will be tailored to individual needs.
