➕Femi Thomas – Tennis Coach & Mentor Femi Thomas grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, where he began his tennis journey at the prestigious Lagos Lawn Tennis Club. His natural talent and dedication to the sport quickly made him a standout. With the support of generous club members who recognized his potential, Femi rose through the ranks to become the No. 1 junior tennis player in the country. His success on the junior circuit eventually led him to compete at the international level, including an invitation to the Junior U.S. Open. Femi earned a full athletic scholarship to play NCAA Division I tennis at Texas Southern University (TSU), where he continued to distinguish himself as a top-level collegiate athlete. Following his competitive playing career, Femi transitioned into coaching, where he has made a significant impact in developing young talent. Under his guidance, many of his players have earned college tennis scholarships and achieved national rankings. Femi holds certifications from the United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTR), the International Tennis Federation (ITF), and is recognized with a U.S. High Performance Coaching Certification. He currently resides in Missouri City, Texas, with his wife and their two beautiful children, a son and a daughter. Femi continues to be a passionate advocate for youth development through tennis, combining his global experience and deep-rooted love for the game to inspire the next generation.
