Even before Doug became a Certified Instructor, I could tell that he would be the person to help me improve my game. I was fortunate enough to randomly partner with him at a public pickleball court in Carlsbad, and it was clear to me that Doug was a great player. When I found out that he was a Certified Instructor, I immediately got on his calendar so that I could begin to learn from him and improve my game. I found Doug’s teaching style to be compatible with my competitive nature. He taught me strategies and techniques that allow me to play at the challenge courts level with confidence. I’ve been playing pickleball for 1.5 years. I had lessons when I first started and several after. I had 3 pros who helped me understand the basics of pickleball. But I must have taken at least 5 lessons all within the last 4 months with Doug Gore. He is by far the best pickleball coach I’ve ever had. He is patient. He takes his time explaining the game and the strategies. Worked on my serve and return of serve. Spent 2 lessons alone on the dinking aspect of the game. He does it with constant encouragement and has even come out to watch me play and offer up advice on what I’m doing wrong and what I’m doing correctly. You will improve your game in no time. Glenn

He really takes his time teaching you the game of Pickleball. Doug is detailed and very knowledgeable about the game. He has shown me ways to improve my game by giving me tools that I can use while practicing on my own and playing on the court. Referring Doug to other players is always a pleasure.
