Beginner training plan
Your first lessonLesson 1: Introduction to Pickleball Objective: Learn the basics of the game. Activities: ◦ Warm-up with basic stretches. ◦ Overview of rules, scoring, and court layout. ◦ Grip techniques (e.g., continental grip). ◦ Basic forehand and backhand strokes. ◦ Practice serving (underhand and overhand).
Lesson 4-10Game Strategy Objective: Understand positioning and basic strategy. Activities: ◦ Practice positioning on the court (e.g., where to stand when receiving serve). ◦ Introduction to dinking: learn the soft game. ◦ Play mini-games focusing on keeping score and basic strategy. ◦ Partner drills: practice switching positions during play. ◦ Physical conditioning: agility drills. Advanced Techniques Objective: Introduce advanced shots and strategies. Activities: ◦ Learn the overhead smash and how to execute it. ◦ Mixed drills: incorporating volleys, dinks, and smashes into play. ◦ Scrimmage: play games while implementing learned strategies. ◦ Focus on communication with partners during play. ◦ End with fitness exercises specific to pickleball (core strengthening). Situational Play Objective: Improve gameplay through scenarios. Activities: ◦ Drill: Forehand and backhand rallies with a partner. ◦ Introduce the volley: practice volleying from just behind the kitchen/non-volley zone. ◦ Footwork drills: practice moving backwards & laterally. ◦ Serving practice: different types of serves (focusing on placement). ◦ Cool down with stretches.

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
