Beginner training plan
Your first lessonPickleball overview, introduction to rules, scoring, equipment, paddle grip, stance and some basic shots.
Lesson 11+Depending on your progression, playing ability and personal goals for Pickleball, we may focus on more advanced game strategies, in game shot selection, and some helpful strategies for competitive or tournament play as desired.
Lesson 4-10Begin to focus on improving your shot accuracy and some helpful game strategies while serving, transitioning and receiving. We will also incorporate drills to improve your overall skills while building your confidence.
Lesson 2-3Development of new strokes including forehand and backhand, serves, dinks and volleys. Learn basic court position strategies and proper footwork.

Your first lessonDiscuss your pickleball experience, overall athletic background and your short and long term goals in Pickleball.
Lesson 2-3If you are a 4.0+ player, I would arrange to watch you play competitively before we start working together. As a former competitive collegiate athlete that understands and now appreciates advanced levels of pickleball and training, I am confident I can help identify areas for you to improve your game and work together on drills to enhance your current skills that will make you a more competitive player.
