Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIntro about the overall game aspect and how to read the court and lines and where to be on the court/positioning, then get into forehand and backhand hitting revolving around footwork. Serving and score keeping would then be introduced as well. Last 20-25 minutes would be overall game play reviewing key skill concepts related to score keeping, footwork, paddle angle/grip and core concepts of Pickleball.
Lesson 11+Goal setting to move from beginner to advanced beginner and forward to low intermediate leveled player. Foot work, shot selection, court awareness off shot selection is key. Continued growth of player physically mentally and emotionally. Onward growth of combo shots and deception to win tournaments.
Lesson 4-10He/she should announce scoring proficiently, begin to understand strategy of where to hit ball. Court positioning of where to be depending on where they are on the court.
Lesson 2-3Review what was previously learned from first lesson. Continuing scoring since that takes about 2-3 lessons to truly understand. Work on controlling their hit close to net with hit drilling the forehand and backhand with cone targets. Stepping through the door, sweeping motion with paddle, following through.
