I focus on introducing the basic rules, court layout, and scoring system, along with teaching the fundamentals of grip, stance, and forehand/backhand strokes. The goal is to make the session fun and build confidence on the court.
In advanced beginner sessions, we focus on gameplay strategy, court awareness, and advanced techniques like drop shots and lobs. Players will also participate in practice games to apply what they’ve learned and enhance their competitive edge.
Players will work on improving consistency in their shots, learning dinking, volleying, and basic strategies for both singles and doubles play. Lessons also focus on movement coordination, shot selection, and building game confidence.
These lessons emphasize refining basic skills such as serving, returning, and rallying. I also introduce footwork and positioning, helping beginners understand where to stand during different phases of play.
