Review of rules and best practices. Safety. Focus on all 5 strokes. Ball machine at the 3 zones of the court. Rotating situational play with partners.
Review of safety, equipment review, focus on forehand and backhand. Grip and hand position on grip. Basic Court movement with partner. Serve and return, NVZ dinking and placement.
Introduction and Audit Player goals and objectives.
Evaluate players understanding of intermediate/advanced mechanics of Pickleball. Drive, drop, hybrid drop, slice, and topspin techniques. Ernie, and ATP recognition and team execution. Focus on stated goal areas. Video analysis of players movement on court.
Focus on areas to strengthen for competing in tournaments, league participation, college competition and singles competition.
Emphasize team dynamics for doubles teams.
Evaluate goals and objectives or the player. Drills with 3/5/7, 6β NVZ drill, Speed up/blocks, backhand punch, roll, flick, Volley from transition zone, lob from NVZ.
Evaluate players progress with emphasis on building on strengths and minimizing weaknesses from 1st session. Train on several drills designed to build motor and muscle memory in focus areas.
100-200 reps of each of the 5 strokes. Use training tools to emphasize target zones, depth of serve/return. Serve/Return tactics.
