Beginner training plan
Your first lessonCover some or all of the basics of pickleball. Including how to hit the ball and how to play the game.
Lesson 11+This is the start of getting picky with certain skills until super comfortable and really challenging your abilities to the fullest. Always making sure we cover what you need to work on and start improving with positions and reactions at different spots on the court.
Lesson 4-10Have a mini clinic to see the progression of your skills and start learning more techniques for specific shots you know already or haven't learned yet. Along with practice matches to show what you have learned. Plus some more drills that you learn to use at home or with friends
Lesson 2-3Focus on specific skills that help with the basics and rules you need to know. Very small drills weave in.
Advanced training plan
Youth players
Working with teenagersI find fun connections outside of the sport to skills related to the game of pickleball for the teenagers. Really show how fun the game can be and not just some activity older people do. Lesson plans related to what they need to learn and practice. While having a smile afterwards. I want them to always learn something new but they won't learn unless they can enjoy it. That's my number one goal with them.
