Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIt is important to learn the rules of pickleball but I like to start with controlling the paddle; getting used to hitting the ball, and how we move on the court. Then we tackle the rules, what are the common misconceptions, and how do we make points in pickleball. We look at the two main legal serves, the strategy behind the serve and what comes after in normal game play. Next is scoring and how the beginning of a game differs from the rest of the game; where we move when we win a point and what we do if we are on the receiving end of a serve. Then we put it all together and play some slow points to make sure we understand what we need to do in as the game progresses. There is always time for questions and take aways!
Lesson 11+We now focus on partner strategies and how to advance to higher levels of play!
Lesson 4-10Gaining confidence at shot selection and execution is what we focus on here. Pickleball is like chess and we need to start thinking many moves ahead!
Lesson 2-3We begin to add shot types, and playing strategies to get your game headed in the right direction.
Youth players
Working with teenagersMany teenagers have played in school. We want to make sure they understand all the rules and how to apply shot selection to their game!
What you need to bringA paddle if you have one; court shoes and athletic wear to be ready to play! Be sure to bring water or electrolytes to keep yourself hydrated in the heat!!
What I can bringI have demo paddles from several companies that you can try out and purchase from me. (Diadem and ProXR). I also have Pickleball’s for drilling and play. I own a pickleball machine as well for advanced drilling.

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
