Coming into the lessons I had somewhat of a tennis background which helped me with the basics but working with Chris really helped me bridge the gap between the two sports. He used some of the terms and drills I had used in tennis and adopted them to a pickleball play style to help me transition my swing and footwork so that it was better suited for the faster pace of play that pickleball has. He also paid special attention to my approach to the kitchen and my dinking skills since it was not something that came as naturally to me as other parts of the sport. I would recommend him to anyone trying to get a better understanding of the sport and wants to have fun in the process.

Chris was a fantastic coach for me to work with while starting my pickleball journey. He was patient with me throughout our sessions and taught me a great deal of essential skills needed to start playing games with my friends.
