Passionate Pickleball enthusiast who embarked on a journey in 2015 by playing and teaching the sport for an adult 50+ recreation program. Over the course of eight successful years, I built and nurtured the program, fostering a love for Pickleball. In 2023, I took my commitment to the next level by enrolling in the Pickleball Coaching International Instructor Certification Course, officially becoming a certified coach. I am dedicated to teaching and advocating recreational Pickleball, emphasizing a fun and no-pressure learning environment. As a Recreation Master, I strongly believe in the power of daily self-recreation; for me, that's Pickleball the Recreation way. I first saw Pickleball being played for the first time at Cheri's indoor Pickleball Program and was so inspired I joined the program. Cheri taught me how to play the game and was so patient with me I caught on really fast. I now play every week and can give my opponent a good game!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst we review game basics such as court dimensions, equipment and how to use, focusing on proper shoes for safe playing, along with stretching. Then move into strokes starting with dinks.
Lesson 11+Finally, learn strategies of play, court positioning for play with partner and as a singles player.
Lesson 4-10Learn all other strokes, including serve, lob, blocking, and drive including them in play of the game for doubles as well as singles play.
Lesson 2-3Review of first session then move into more strokes such as ground stroke and volley. We work on footwork, best body positioning for stroke execution with use of drills and exercises.
Advanced training plan
What you need to bringWear comfortable clothes that are easy to move around in. Wear court shoes, tennis or basketball. No Running shoes for safety sake. Bring water to stay hydrated. If you have a Paddle bring it.
What I can bringBeginner Paddles for up to 4 Students, balls to work with.
PB net. Pickleball Machine for drills.
