Carson gave us an awesome lesson. Giving us different paddles to test out so we could see which ones felt better than the first lesson.
He also gave us more complex drills to complete so that we practiced all of the skills we would be using on the court in a game.
He even stayed a few minutes late with us and played! We still have a long way to go - but feeling so much more accomplished than our first lesson.
And later that evening - Carson even sent personalised list of recommendations of different paddles to buy (since we still don’t have our own), as my partner used to play tennis - so some paddles are better shaped for former tennis players.

Carson was very nice and super knowledgeable. He’s also extremely detailed which I love. He paid close attention the entire session and took the time to help tweak any movement he saw that needed adjustment. He’s also patient, as I’ve only been playing for a few weeks, but already feel like I was better by the end of the lesson!

Carson was awesome! He took us through the very basics. We did a number of drills to get comfortable with the racket, the ball weight and movement, and overall stance. I was shocked how different it was from playing tennis! We had such a blast, and can’t wait for our next lesson.
