Pickleball lesson! I arranged 3 friends and myself to learn Pickleball and we were truly all new to the game. Caleb was our instructor and all of us appreciated his patience, positivity and sense of humor. We did two lessons and are considering another one in 6 months as a refresher or to work on advancing our skills. We will use Caleb since we had such a positive experience.

We took lessons from Caleb as a couple, and he did a great job customizing his feedback and coaching to each of our skill levels. Our lesson consisted of lots of drills and coaching followed by play where he could call us out on improvement opportunities and direct play to improve our weak areas. He is patient and keeps it fun.

Caleb! You’re the best! Thank as for teaching me the topspin roll with the paddle head facing down, comes in handy on may occasions! Also can anticipate and close on balls better after watching you do that on many occasions. Keep your positive vibe going as well, it’s one of your best qualities.

As a beginner to the game of pickleball I especially liked how Caleb thoroughly explained rules, differences between singles and doubles play, as well as mechanics . He patiently ran through basic skills drills and is overall a very pleasant guy. Looking forward to more instruction from him.

Caleb has some of the coolest shots I’ve ever seen. Not only was he great, patient at showing me the basics of the game, he taught me some ways to build up my extra skills as well, like spin serves, reading spin shots, strategies and more! Very funny guy, easy to get along with!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will start wherever you need to begin! If that’s straight from opening up the rule book, wonderful! And we’ll continue from there.
Lesson 11+As we go from here, the fundamentals should be sound. We’ll begin challenging yourself with more complex shots, intentional court decisions, and speeding up your entire game, whilst maintaining percentage play, through accuracy and consistency.
Lesson 4-10Once the hand-eye coordination is secured, we’ll begin working on essential techniques of eliminating unforced errors. How can we stay in the game, and make the best decision for each shot. Talking about where to be in the court at all times, shot placement, service strategies, and rally combinations.
Lesson 2-3Once we’ve established the fundamentals of the written rules, we’ll begin working on the motor skills of contacting the ball appropriately, thinking about how and where we’re hitting the ball, and begin conversations about where we should be on the court at key moments.
