Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will focus on the fundamentals of the game. Starting with stance and paddle grip. Then serving, returning, drives etc. Proper technique to hit forehand and backhand shots.
Lesson 4-10We start to focus more on backhand/forehand flicks and rolls. Incorporating lobs into our play.
Lesson 2-3We will focus on drops, dinks, kitchen/baseline strategy. Practice footwork and movement. We will also work on our forehand and backhand shots as well.
What you need to bringStudents can bring their own paddles if they would like.
What I can bringI will provide paddles and balls.

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.

I had a great session last week with coach Brian who helped me to work on improving my drive from the baseline and third shot drop. We focused on drive mechanics—timing, paddle angle, and footwork—which helped improved my consistency and depth. But the real game-changer was the third shot drop drill. Coach Brian guided me through resetting from mid-court and placing the ball cross-court with control and purpose. It was challenging, but his clear feedback and encouragement helped me build confidence in a shot I used to avoid. My skills have improved significantly since my first lesson. Looking forward to my next session!

Brian demonstrates a novel way of teaching by giving me the opportunity to identify my own mistakes based on the content that I learned from him on the spot. This exercise, along with the drills, helps me better understand the concepts that we learned today. If there is one improvement I have to state, it’s that the drop shot adjustments could be introduced better. Give them awareness that the balls can come at different height/different speeds first and then show them the techniques to handle such cases.
