As I lay gasping for breath on the hot, sun-baked pickleball court, I thought about my excellent teacher, Brian Starick. I thought about how he showed me how to put the perfect spin on my backhand (my wrenched left elbow just missing such a ball can attest to his mastery). His tips on getting the most power on a spike is also impressive, as demonstrated by the pickleball shaped bruise on his right leg. Couldn't ask for a better teacher!

Brian is so great - patient, personable & a good sense of humor (which I'm sure one needs in order to coach clients like me 😊)! I'm not a "beginner" beginner PB player but I haven't been able to play much in the past year so he is helping me remember what I do well & just improve my overall skills. Recommend highly!

Having never played pickle ball before, Brian was able to explain the rules and scoring in a relatable way. He was organized and approachable during practice time and knows a number of drills that are fun and challenging. I highly recommended Brian for learning both singles and doubles.

Brian is a great instructor, I had no clue how to play pickle ball and now I can do it really well because his knowledge and patience. He knows how to do everything from scoring, to shot selection and putting spin on the ball.
