He met us where we were at with our skills, and I felt supported from start to finish in this lesson, plus I’m already itching to push further and refine what we started.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe 3 basics of Pickleball every player needs to build their game on: 1. Playing relaxed 2. Playing ready 3. Playing focused While we do some basic drills together you begin learning the foundations of a consistent PBall game including how to keep score!
Lesson 11+ Building on the foundations of the game: 1. Working on areas of weakness 2. How to read your opponent 3. The proper mindset moving forward—taking every facet of your PB game from good—to better—to best requires not only technical & tactical skill but the knowledge & understanding to excel in the inner game… When you say to yourself, how come I don’’t play like I practice you know you have more work to do! *Conclusion: if you find you’re not getting any better— you’ve plateaued…let me know & I’m happy to get back together to help you get to the next level! Yours for more PB&J, Blaine
Lesson 4-10Expanding court knowledge: 1. Where to be on the court through various phases of the game—serving, service returning, the dink, drops, lobs & drives 2. The right shot to hit depending where you are on the court 3. Self awareness—how to give yourself constructive feedback!
Lesson 2-3Building technical skills (the how) in the short & soft game (dinks & drop shots) by working on dinks from various positions. While drilling we add the why—tactical thinking to your game…

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonAssess every part of your game: 1. Technical skills 2. Tactical skills 3. The Inner Game…
Lesson 11+The meat & potatoes of Pickleball: • Expanding your arsenal • Slow downs—when & how • Speed ups—when & how • Resetting when losing focus The proper mindset to keep moving forward always includes inner dialogue… The goal was always to improve every facet of your PB game from conscious to unconscious competency via technical & tactical work & there’s no better way to do so then through the process of growing in knowledge, understanding & wisdom! Finally, whenever you feel like you’ve hit a wall I’m happy to get back together for a tuneup—that includes an assessment & getting back to work on whatever technical & tactical focus will further build your confidence & skill! Yours for better PB&J, Blaine
Lesson 4-10Furthering the tactical game (strategy) through technical skills: • Hitting the right shot under pressure • Becoming a better defender • Improving shots • sharpening your inner dialogue… • increasing unconscious competency
Lesson 2-3Building on the foundations of your game—a plan to: 1. Work on areas that need technical sharpening 2. How to read your opponents game 3. Attacking their weaknesses 4. Improving court & self-awareness.

Youth players
Working with kidsI am always open to work with children and or do family lessons. Teaching children is very organic & loose to keep them involved. Even parents can pick up some pointers if they help help while I teach very basic skills… In summary, I developed technologies to help children have fun while they begin to learn the game…

Working with teenagersI am developing a diverse youth program: 1. Small group training 2. Larger group training 3. Or if preferred individual training *Look at the Beginners training plan to get a feel for what you’ll be learning. The goal: We will have leagues of teams that play each other from various Rec centers, clubs & parts of the city to the state. Junior high, Freshman, JV & Varsity teams that compete against one another… Let’s do this!

What you need to bringCome with as much feedback about your ability and what you want to work on—this will help me get to know you better and help you improve.

What I can bringI have Pickle ball’s that I recommend based on your level and extra paddles if you want to demo one that I recommend for control & power
