Ben is an amazing instructor! He is prompt and introduces himself. He explains and demonstrates as he's teaching, and he always asks if there are any questions. He uses terminology congruent to the game, then explains what the term mean. He's patient, and praises attempts, all the while reinforcing the fundamentals and always keeping the basics in focus. He repeats key concepts and explains how they build on the play of the game. He's concerned about safety making sure proper footwear is worn, sunscreen is applied, water beaks are taken and repeating if a ball is missed or on the ground, let it go so not to roll an ankle.
If you're looking for an instructor who can teach to your ability level, Ben is definitely your guy, you won't be disappointed.

We had a great group lesson with Ben this morning. In each lesson he introduces a few new skills to build upon while reinforcing those already taught. It’s also helpful to recognize bad habits and work on replacing them with proven techniques and strategies. He is good at explaining the “whys” and gives encouragement and positive feedback. My game has improved and I recommend Ben to anyone wanting to improve their game.

Ben was great for our very first pickleball lesson! He was patient and answered all of our questions. We were doing drills and hitting the ball almost right away with demos and teaching along the way. His willingness to travel to our court was also a big plus! Thank you, Ben!!
