Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will first go over the introduction to the game which will include the basic rules, equipment, and court layout. I will teach the scoring, serving, and faults, as well as the proper grip for both forehand and backhand.
Lesson 11+These lessons will be advanced techniques and game strategy. We will work on third-shot drop, lobs, and overhands. Also discuss when to attack and when to defend. Will learn court coverage for both singles and doubles play.
Lesson 4-10These lessons will focus on refining skills and introducing doubles play. We will focus on topspin and backspin, as well as more dinking and volleying. I will show how doubles is played and where proper positioning is.
Lesson 2-3The next few lessons will focus on skill development and footwork. There will be some drills for forehand and backhand strokes, focusing on consistency. Also practice serving, volleying, and dinks.
Advanced training plan
Youth players
Working with kidsI will use more games and activities rather than formal drills using a playful atmosphere and friendly competition and encouragement.
Working with teenagersThis will be a mix of structured drills and game-based practice to keep them engaged.
