About your pickleball coach

Andrew is an enthusiastic and dedicated tennis and pickleball instructor with a passion for introducing others to the exciting world of social sports. With 5 years of teaching experience and 15 years of playing tennis, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the court. Andrew has also been teaching pickleball since he started playing 4 years ago, and is especially excited about helping others discover this sport, which is rapidly growing in popularity across the nation. Despite a shoulder injury that prevented him from playing competitive tennis, he continues to inspire and coach players of all skill levels. Andrew holds a 4.5 rating, achieved two years ago, a testament to his dedication and skill in both sports.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonStart with the basics covering rules, scoring and essential equipment. We will help you focus on the fundamental skills like stance, grip and basic strokes to get you started .
Lesson 11+Skills test and guided group play. Lobs, spin shots and other more advanced techniques that may come in earlier lessons depending on skill level. Focus on what the player is struggling with the most. On our last few lessons we will be looking to see how you can improve further with us or on your own!
Lesson 4-10Start going over doubles and singles strategies. We start working on accuracy as consistency increases. Shot choices and patience . Work on hitting balls at there apex or max height off the ground. How to judge when to take a shot and how to communicate with your partner effectively. Improving on lessons 1-3 basics
Lesson 2-3Footwork and court positioning. Learn why footwork is so crucial in racket/paddle sports! Having some of the basics down we will begin working on forehand and back hand strokes. How to effectively serve and keep it consistent.
Youth players
Working with kidsTry to make it more like a game fun drills. Not as serious atmosphere. Looking for slower progression depending on player.
Working with teenagersEncourage good habits through exercise and the social platform that pickleball creates.

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
