Hello! I feel very lucky to have Miss Zhanna as my son’s piano teacher! My boy has been learning
piano with Zhanna for almost 3 years, and he loves his piano lesson. Zhanna is an enthusiasm
pianist! She loves music, and so gladly to share her passion for music with her students. Meanwhile she is a
serious instructor, and always emphasizes the importance of practicing. But as a patient and
encouraging teacher, she never pushes my son directly. Instead, she tried different ways to arouse
my son’s interest in learning and practicing piano. Furthermore, she trained my son not only in
piano performing, but also in ear training, sight-reading, technique, and theory. Thus, my boy has more in-depth understanding of what he is playing. Lastly, I want to
thank Zhanna for always correcting my son’s playing and palm posture, and making sure he
won’t hurt his hands for a longer time piano playing. Zhanna is a wonderful, trustable, and
valuable piano instructor!

Learning with Miss Zhanna has been awesome. She’s super patient and always tweaks the lessons to fit our son’s pace. He’s gotten so much more confident and skilled, and it’s really cool to see him fall more in love with music every single day.
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI always start with introducing myself. I then go out to explain white and black keys high and low sounds, clap different rhythms, dance to at least one song, sing a sofage song together, play old McDonald on the black keys or chopstick or dog bingo song, then I show how to write notes and how to practice C position and show/memorize finger number’s together using 2-3 songs like thumb thumb thumb thumb is number 1, two two two pointer finger two,, and so on!
Lesson 11+After reviewing all the rhythms,time signatures, alphabet letters, high sounds and low sounds, forte and piano. Finger #’s, C position, composing/theory writing then I go on to explaining more about the grand staff! Then start learning to play from the home notes Bass F and Treble G and build up from there using songs that help with staff memorization, FACE,ALL COWS EAT GRASS and etc! Then start playing short songs in C position on treble and bass clef, proceeding with theory,rhythm and note writing,ear training and sight reading practice☺️
