I've been teaching vocal and piano for over 20 years and discovered my gift for teaching when I was just 15. With a master's degree in piano performance from the Manhattan School of Music and a degree in music education from New York University, my journey has taken me from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music to stages like Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. My unique teaching methods focus on rapid learning and memorization, ensuring my students make the most of their practice time. Thanks to the remarkable results my students have achieved, my lessons are now in high demand nationwide.

The really special thing about Xuran’s teaching style is her ability to communicate with her students. During my time under her instruction, it was always a very open conversation about what I wanted to learn next or what kind of teaching style I felt would be most helpful for me (did I want to be pushed, do I want a laid back style of learning where there were less harsh deadlines, etc.)
