Beginner training plan
Your first lesson
I start by building trust and making the student feel comfortable. I ask about their goals, past experience (if any), and learning preferences. Then, I introduce basic concepts in a simple, engaging way—focusing more on exploration and encouragement than strict technique.
Lesson 11+At this point, the beginner is transitioning into an intermediate learner. Lessons will focus on refining technique, exploring more complex material, and encouraging personal expression or creativity. We’ll also begin setting personal goals—whether it’s performing, creating, or simply mastering new skills.
Lesson 4-10By this stage, students begin to gain muscle memory and more confidence. We’ll increase the challenge gradually, introduce more structured techniques or repertoire, and help them build toward independence. The goal is progress—without pressure—while keeping things fun and rewarding.
Lesson 2-3These lessons focus on developing consistency and confidence. We’ll reinforce the basics introduced in Lesson 1, introduce simple exercises or drills, and begin building routines. I also assess their progress and adjust the approach to fit their pace.
