If you want lessons that actually prepare you for the real world — not just exams — she’s the one. Studying with Jolynn has completely changed the way I see music. She’s not just a teacher — she’s a Grammy-considered artist who actually lives in the music industry, and that experience shows in everything she does. She helped me (and my child) go beyond just playing notes — we learned how to interpret, perform, and even create music with… > From Susan, 5 out of 5 > As a college student at UCLA, I was looking for someone who could work with my busy schedule and come to my place in Beverly Hills for lessons. Ms Jolynn was the perfect fit. She’s insanely talented, was kinda nervous seeing her since she’s Grammy-considered and stuff but don’t worry, she’s also super down-to-earth and easy to learn from. I was originally just looking for a way to keep up piano casually, but she helped me improve so quickly that I ended up working on harder repertoire and even writing my own music. I think having someone who actually works in the industry means you learn what… > From Rebecca, 5 out of 5 > She helped my daughter not only win GOLD! in a national piano competition last year, but also prepared her for a successful scholarship audition at a top arts high school here in Beverly Hills. Jolynn understands exactly what adjudicators and scholarship panels are looking for and taught her techniques and musicality to performance presence and mindset. She truly invests in her students, and if you’re looking for someone who combines elite training with real industry knowledge, Jolynn is the teacher to trust. We’ve worked with a number of teachers over the years, but Jolynn is in a league of… > From Tina, 5 out of 5 > Jolynn has been an incredible tutor in helping me prepare for my Grade 8 practical ABRSM and theory exams for my scholarship enrolment. Her deep understanding of music theory and her ability to relate it back to performance made learning feel seamless. She was always encouraging and found creative ways to explain advanced topics like counterpoint and harmony. Thanks to her detailed guidance, I passed both my practical and theory exams with high marks. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and supportive tutor, I couldn’t recommend Jolynn enough. > From Sarah, 5 out of 5 > It was a great pleasure to learn from Ms Jolynn. Many piano techniques have been taught to me, such as keeping my fingers curved at all times. She is the first piano teacher that helped me receive 2 gold medals in my national and international level piano competitions. Before the rise of COVID-19, I experienced lots of outdoor and indoor performances activity with her. I'd love to get this opportunity to go around with her and see her perform on stage. Many compliments to her for her piano ability and talent. > From Benjamin, 5 out of 5 > I was recommended to Jolynn by a friend and I’m so glad I reached out. I was looking for someone to come to my apartment in Beverly Hills after classes at UCLA, and she made everything super convenient and stress-free. She’s also highly respected in the music industry, which makes a huge difference. Every lesson feels purposeful, and she teaches in a way that’s creative but super clear. I was preparing for auditions and learning composing. Can’t recommend her enough. > From Grieg, 5 out of 5 > ve been learning piano with Jolynn for almost a year, and I can confidently say she’s one of the best tutors I’ve had. As someone who started as a complete beginner, I appreciated how she broke everything down step by step and tailored the lessons to my pace. Jolynn has a natural ability to make even the most challenging pieces feel achievable. Her energy and passion for music are incredibly motivating. I wouldn’t have come this far without her guidance! > From Adrian, 5 out of 5 > YES! Jolynn is the one! I cant emphasize how important enough it is for you to get at least an instructor that is credible in the music industry, not just certification wise. Helps me navigate challenges faced in the real world as a musician and build my career as an independent artist. > From Layla, 5 out of 5 ## Book - [Book on TeachMe.To](https://teachme.to/listings/piano/piano-with-jolynn-chin): Pick a pack, a time, and a location, then pay. - [This coach in the agent API](https://api.teachme.to/agent/v1/coaches/3f79f06e-9114-414a-8ddb-bd921be6ef8d): Read open times, get an exact quote, and book for a student. - [Agent instructions](https://api.teachme.to/agent/v1/llms.txt): Read this before calling the API.
