Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI start with understanding student’s goals, needs, and skill level. I explain what to expect from me, what they need to do at home. Then I determine the materials they need. The next step is determined by the information I received. It’s different for each person.
Lesson 2-3It depends on what they want to learn, their age, and skill level. Typically we start by learning the notes, the keys, basics of music grammar. They can start playing simple tunes within first few lessons.
Lesson 4-10Depending on age and skills, students can play simple songs with both hands, read the notes in treble and bass clefs, understand the basic music grammar, learn expressions.
Lesson 11+Be prepared to perform at annual concert I organize for my students. Develop techniques, fluently read the notes. Besides the basics, they will learn how to analyze the music, find the logical and most effective way of learning, develop attention, memory, and emotional intelligence.
