Beginner training plan
Your first trainingFirst lesson will be a general assessment. I want to get an idea of how you move, where your strength and conditioning is, and we establish a baseline for the goals you set forth
Training 2-3Based on the information from the assessment, we will start to execute the plan ahead. We will focus on the foundational strength training techniques. Learn to work within a certain tempo to “feel” the movements. We will also cover dynamic warm-up exercises, and appropriate cardiovascular training.
Training 4-10As we continue through our first phase of programming, we will safely, and progressively increase resistance and/ or workload. We will also begin to incorporate complimentary exercises to add to our foundational training.
Training 11+We will be at our near the end of our first phase of training. We will then begin to incorporate split training, so that we could add more exercises per workout to maximize results. According toto the students goals, we will modify activity levels in relation to mobility and cardio training.
Youth players
Working with kidsWith children, it is important that they understand the benefit of learning exercise. I will demonstrate how to properly perform age-appropriate exercises. It is also important to keep the sessions interactive and run, so that they yield a positive experience from working out that will last their lifetimes.
