About your personal training trainer

A Chattanooga, TN native, I graduated from Hixson High School and earned an Associate Degree in Exercise Science from Chattanooga Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. A lifelong connection to sports shaped my passion for fitness and led me to become a personal fitness instructor and wellness coach. For more than 20 years, I have worked with clients across the Chattanooga area, helping people of all fitness levels—from athletes to seniors—build healthier lifestyles. Outside of health and wellness, I enjoy rhythmic poetry and actively participate in the Rhyme-N-Chatt poetry organization. Dameian Helton is Tennessee’s officially recognized A.P.E.X. Local Evaluator and Injury Prevention Specialist, chosen directly by Area Scouts and The A.P.E.X. Group™. With multi-sport experience and years of working with youth athletes ages 8–18, Dameian provides local families with a practical, science-based approach to athletic development and injury prevention. His role extends beyond evaluation. Dameian is a trusted resource for athletes, parents, schools, coaches, and community partners. Whether you want to better understand an athlete’s development, bring assessments to a school program, or support youth sports through a local business, Dameian is the first person to contact.
