Beginner training plan
Your first lessonAt the first lesson, I review the materials needed for painting and refer the student to stores that carry the materials. As the lessons progress, I will provide informative handouts.
Lesson 11+I will provide instructions as the student works on their artwork.
Lesson 4-10The student will choose a subject with my help and will create a drawing of the subject. The drawing will be transferred to a canvas and the student will begin to paint.
Lesson 2-3For the next few lessons I will talk about color and values. The student will create a color wheel.

Youth players
Working with teenagersThe lessons are the same as for adults.
What you need to bringPhoto of subject you want to paint 8x10, canvas, artist grade paint, if possible; burnt umber, ultramarine blue, cadmium red, cadmium yellow, titanium white, viridian green, bristle and synthetic brushes in various sizes, Gamsol and a brush cleaning container, an easel, drawing pad and pencil, ruler, linseed oil, and paper towels.
