Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI start by breaking the ice and figuring out where they’re at—what DAW they use, what kind of music they want to make, and what they already know. We set up their session together, cover basic gain staging, routing, and plugin use. The goal is to get them comfortable inside their environment and leave with one or two sounds or loops they’re proud of.
Lesson 11+By now, they’re building full tracks start-to-finish. We focus on mastering mindset—critical listening, finishing projects, and developing their signature sound. I tailor lessons to their goals: whether that’s preparing releases, building sample packs, or learning hybrid mixing with analog gear.
Lesson 4-10This is where the real refinement starts. We dive into arrangement, depth, automation, and how to make a mix breathe. They’ll learn balance, referencing, and how to spot frequency conflicts. I start introducing creative processing—saturation, stereo width, spatial effects—so their tracks start sounding polished.
Lesson 2-3We start shaping workflow—tracking, basic EQ and compression, layering synths or instruments. I show them how to organize sessions and make decisions fast without getting stuck. These lessons are about getting hands-on and learning to translate ideas into sound with clarity.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI assess their workflow, speed, decision-making, and consistency. We dive straight into a real session—mixing, arrangement fix-ups, or sound design, so I can see their strengths and gaps. No hand-holding. We set goals based on where they want to push their craft next.
