About your music production instructor
My name is Ethan Hackett and I have been producing music as a member of the underground electronic music scene for over a decade. I am very passionate about sound, audio, and electronic music and want to share what I’ve learned to aspiring producers that are just starting their musical journey. Schooling includes Master Recording Program 2 from CRAS as well as courses in music business, culture, and production from MCC and Berklee online.

Beginner training plan
Your first classFirst lesson would be a game plan to discuss what kind of music you want to make and going over some basics of audio engineering.
Class 2-3After the initial orientation, students can pick certain instruments they want to learn more about.
Class 4-10Once students understand the basics of electronic instruments and production techniques, future lessons can involve using the equipment in a hands on manner to create original music in the chosen genre.
Class 11+Whatever else they want to learn that we haven’t already covered!
Youth players
Working with kidsWorking with kids would involve more about sparking their curiosity and interest in music as opposed to focusing on theory and other technical aspects.
Working with teenagersTeens would be the ideal candidate for coaching sessions if they already have some basic music theory knowledge from childhood but are also just starting out in music production and want to learn more.
