Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will first assess where the student is beginning with their skills. Then, we will discuss what their ideal and realistic goals are for our time working together. Afterwards, we will begin a lesson based on their individual needs.
Lesson 2-3These lessons will be spent encouraging work ethic and consistent effort from the student in their work. Steady progress will be made towards their goals, but these lessons are also crucial for setting the standard for appropriate work.
Lesson 4-10As the student becomes more comfortable and confident with our lessons and work, we will ramp up the intensity a bit to help them develop faster. Their increased educational stamina that was developed in prior sessions is utilized henceforth.
Lesson 11+Once the student has reached this point, it is similar to the previous lessons in that there will be a consistent and strong effort towards reaching their goals. We will aim to achieve and then exceed their prior expectations and goals at this point. Once we have reached their goals, we will reassess their skills and set new goals for the following sessions.
What you need to bringIt is preferable if students bring their own materials to practice, but I will provide extras if necessary.
