Opening with a light workout to get warmed up, We will move around and hit some pads with 0 expectation. This will be done to gauge where skill level and natural affluence put our starting point. We will then delve directly into basics and introductory level technique. Light exercise to get a sweat and ending with a cooldown stretch.
Remaining lessons will be on furthering your knowledge and affinity for the art! Learning more advanced footwork, combinations, feints, tips and tricks, with opportunity to grow into a competing athlete being a possibility if interested!
Beginners can expect to feel more comfortable moving around in a stance, feeling some speed with their hands and overall enjoying a different style of working out. Practices will continue as they were for 2-3, introducing more as we go. Once familiarity with punching grows, we will work in more realistic movement, as well as moving in combinations and setting up your combos. Beginning and finishing the same, warming up and then getting a good sweat going and then a cooldown.
