Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn the first few lessons, beginners will learn basic Mandarin pronunciation, Pinyin, tones, greetings, numbers, and simple everyday phrases. We will focus on building confidence with speaking and listening through guided practice, repetition, and simple conversations. Students will also learn how Mandarin sounds work and how to practice tones clearly.

Lesson 4-10By lessons 4–10, beginners can expect to expand their vocabulary and begin using short sentence patterns in real conversations. We will practice topics such as introductions, family, colors, animals, food, daily routines, and simple questions and answers. Students will continue improving Pinyin, tones, pronunciation, listening comprehension, and speaking confidence through conversation practice, visuals, games, and review activities.
Lesson 11+After lesson 11, students will continue building longer sentences, stronger listening skills, and more natural conversation ability. Lessons may include personalized topics based on the student’s goals, such as travel Mandarin, school support, heritage language practice, reading comprehension, cultural topics, or daily conversation. Students will receive ongoing review, pronunciation feedback, and practice activities to help them make steady progress.
