Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe first will get to know one another relationship building is very important when trying to work on goals and finding someone you vibe with can make all the difference. One we break the ice we will talk about what you’d like to work on then we would out then in the SMART goal format.
Lesson 2-3These will be targeting those next steps and talking about what it will look/ feel like when you get to this point in reaching your goal. We may hit some speed bumps or road blocks and will break those down and understand why this may be happening.
Lesson 4-10Depending on how lengthy this goal may take during this time you may feel your goal is complete or maybe you need some more help in furthering this goal even more. We can set goals that affect what you are already doing. I will continue to support and connect more resources to you and also provide positive words or encouragement every time we meet.
Lesson 11+After 10 sessions you may feel ready to take it on your own or not every person is different and will go at their own pace. Wherever you are on your journey we will talk about what is best and of course your autonomy and free will is going to dictate where we go next!
Youth players
Working with teenagersWe will meet with parents for the first three sessions and with the parents permission we will meet individually afterwards to give the teen some autonomy and the opportunity to freely express themselves. If at any point the child mentions self harm or harming of another person I will notify the parent and support them in seeking additional help as I am not a licensed therapist. Getting to know parents and teen is very important I’d like to play a game to know each other better the first session then we talk a bit why they are coming to meet me.
