Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThis lesson will focus on scooping, cradling, throwing and catching for field players. Goalkeepers will start with stance, stick position and basic movements to stop shots.
Lesson 11+Player dependent on what will be needed as well as continuing development of skill set to more advanced levels.
Lesson 4-10These will continue to more advanced skills for all positions. Reenforcing skill strengths and working on areas that can use more skill.
Lesson 2-3These lessons build on the basic fundamentals into more position specific skills. Shooting and dodging for offensive players, footwork and defending for defensive players. Goalkeepers will learn positioning to best suit their style and more in depth ball stopping movements.
