Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe’ll start off learning to play an easy song in order to get you excited about playing and motivated to keep learning.
Lesson 11+We will learn song after song as well as I will answer any of your questions about theory, dynamics, or anything you can think to ask.
Lesson 4-10We’ll work on putting basic chords and notes together into more and more songs. I will talk a little bit about the music theory behind what we’re doing but we will focus mostly on getting you to actually play music since that’s the fun part.
Lesson 2-3We’ll learn some basic chords and scales you can use to play a variety of beginner level songs.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonWe will jam together so I can determine what your strengths and weaknesses are.
Lesson 11+We will work on whatever I think your weaknesses are as well as answering any questions you have about the guitar or the learning process
Lesson 4-10We will establish a strong foundation of things like dynamics, theory, and chord variations.
Lesson 2-3We will start discussing areas I think we could work on to improve your abilities. And also we will play songs together.
Youth players
Working with kidsI can be patient and considerate.
Working with teenagersI can determine your skill level and scale the lessons necessarily. This way you still learn to make music but aren’t stressed out.
