At just 6 years old, Mika embarked on a new adventure with the trumpet, followed by a foray into guitar at age 12. Throughout her musical odyssey, she has graced numerous bands across New England, showcasing her versatile talents and earning accolades in public art, storytelling, brass, chorale, and jazz. Armed with a degree in dance from Smith College and graduate studies in education focusing on arts integration from Lesley University, Mika is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of the arts. She shares her expertise as a music instructor at a local music school in Orange Park, FL, while expanding her reach through social media and online teaching platforms.
