From Lesson 11 onward, students move into a more personalized and expressive phase of playing, focusing on refining technique, expanding musical knowledge, and exploring styles they enjoy. Lessons become more tailored to individual goals, whether that’s learning favorite songs, writing music, or advancing toward intermediate skills.

* Improve fingerpicking and strumming versatility
* Learn scales and basic lead guitar techniques
* Explore different styles (rock, pop, blues, etc.)
* Develop ear training and playing by ear

From Lessons 4 through 10, students continue building skill, confidence, and musicality by expanding their chord vocabulary, improving rhythm and timing, and exploring new techniques. The focus is on playing more fluidly, learning a wider variety of songs, and beginning to develop personal style, while reinforcing good practice habits and consistency.
