In my seven years of guitar exploration, I've honed my skills under the guidance of an NYU master's degree graduate who studied with the renowned Dennis Sandole. This structured approach became the cornerstone of my musical foundation during my Associate's degree. My heart beats for improvisational styles found in Jambands and Jazz, yet my appreciation spans a diverse musical spectrum. Firmly believing in the importance of studying Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras, I'm on a mission to bring the richness of musical education to others.

Michael was an excellent Bass guitar teacher. I had told him that my dad gave me a bass and I had no idea what to do with it. He invited me over a free lesson and after the first hour I ended up giving him 100$ for a handful more. He got me started with how to hold the instrument, what the string notes are when they are open and what the first steps to start playing the bass would be. I couldnât recommend anyone more for beginners in any instrument.

Michael helped me learn how to to play chords on my ukulele. He taught me the the strings and how to look up the chord chart online. Then he walked me through some of the more popular chords and helped me learn the song I wanted. He soloed on his guitar while I played the chords as well, which was a lot of fun.

Awesome drum lesson on combining groups of 3+3+2 on the drums to play in a 8/8 time signature. Switching between triplets, swing and a rock and roll shuffle. Really awesome lesson.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGetting to each other and seeing where we are both at on our instruments. Talking about musical goals and philosophy.
Lesson 11+Harmonic entropy in relation to scales and modes, resolution, whole tone scales, deca-tonic scales and melody creation and improvisation.
Lesson 4-10Starting to get deeper into scales and modes in relation to ear training, music theory, improvisational strategy and instrument technique.
Lesson 2-3Depending on what our goals are we will either work on scales, modes and chords or breaking down individual pieces.
Advanced training plan
Youth players
Working with kidsWe have a lot of fun and focus on fundamentals such as solfège, arpeggios and simple melody. Very friendly practice routines and fun songs to learn to show the family.
Working with teenagersSame as normal lesson plan but a little bit slower and more playing focused with less theory and practical philosophy.
