My musical journey began at the age of 5, and since then, I've immersed myself in harmony, composition, and improvisation. My self-taught approach, fueled by record transcribing and bibliographic studies, laid the foundation for exploring various ensembles and delving into composition and performance. Inspired by the genius of Bill Evans, John Coltrane, and other master improvisers, I embarked on a profound study of the art of improvisation. In 2018, I brought my music to life on stages across the Chicago Area, creating immersive live experiences. Simultaneously, I've been sharing my knowledge through private lessons focused on theory and performance. Awards: 2015: Selected for a $30,000 scholarship from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. 2006: Co-founded Guajazz, awarded "Revelation Jazz Group of the Year" by the Guayaquil Jazz Project. Join me on a musical odyssey where we unlock the transformative power of music together!
