Hello future students! I’ve been teaching the guitar to kids and adults for over 15 years, and I’m just as excited today as when I first started! My musical journey began at the age of 14 when I joined the music conservatory in Brasilia, Brazil. Later, I went to college for music education and moved to the US to study Jazz Performance at the University of Louisville. Having studied classical, jazz, Brazilian, pop, rock, country, and blues guitar over the years, I'm confident in teaching most styles. I’m very sensitive to each student’s learning style and goals, and my aim is to facilitate your journey and meet your needs to the best of my ability. I look forward to meeting you!

Very knowledgeable and does a great job of explaining things in a simple way that makes sense. I also love that I started learning songs right away and the songs were used to teach the basics rather than spending months learning all the basics with no ability to put it all together. Never once has she made me feel dumb or silly for messing up, in fact she talks me down when I'm being hard on myself!

Letícia was the only teacher who managed to teach me both guitar playing and music theory in a clear and very didactic way. She encouraged me to play a lot of music by ear and that was essential for my evolution on the instrument. She is an extremely kind, patient person and is an expert in music! Leticia is a fantastic and dedicated teacher. She is very patient, gives good cues to help learn guitar. Provides good music theory background for what we are learning and is overall very knowledgeable. She provides dedicated/custom learning materials for each lesson or what to practice.
