My journey with classical guitar began at the age of 16, sparking a lifelong passion for music. By the time I turned 19, I found myself in a unique teaching role as part of the San Francisco Conservation Corps. As I was tasked with instructing a group of five students, I embraced the opportunity to teach guitar, relishing the challenge of tailoring my approach to each student's individual needs within a group setting.

I've been dabbling with the guitar for over 20 years and decided to start taking lessons a few years ago. A friend recommended Keefe Backer who is a wonderful musician and turns out to be a great teacher. I've been taking lessons with him for 2 years and look forward to each lesson. He is skilled and knowledgeable and very patient
