I’ve worked with James in a musical performance setting for about a year now. He has a remarkable ear for music and never fails to tap into to replicate music or make his own pieces on guitar (and keys!). He is also great at breaking down what is going on musically within a song for people at all skills levels ( including people like me who got introduced to music theory fairly recently). Highly recommend!

James is a great teacher with a strong background in music theory. Those skills transfer to his guitar playing as he is extremely capable in recognizing chord progressions, replicating rhythms and strumming patterns, and improvise melodies. I would strongly recommend James as a teacher!
