I had the pleasure of working with Harold for several years. From day, one I was blown away with his musical talent. Whether he was playing an intricate guitar riff, or using his creativity and vast musical knowledge to write an original piece, he never disappointed. As I got to know him, I quickly realized that he was one of the most musically talented people I knew. However, what makes Harold truly special is his heart. Harold is a natural servant leader. He has a gift for engaging with an empowering people. he sees potential in everyone and is ready to give himself to help them achieve and grow. If you get the chance to engage with Harold in any capacity, I encourage you to do so. The experience will enrich your life.

Among the handful of musical influences in my life, Harold Greene has been an inspiration and motivation for me to this day. I was fortunate enough to work with Harold in college, he advanced my musicianship and professionalism to a new level. On top of all of that, he was and is a great person. He changed my life for the better and I will always be in debt to him for that.

I highly recommend Harold Greene as a guitar instructor for students of any level whether you are just starting out or you want to really deepen your knowledge of the guitar. He is a great teacher who will meet you where you are at and help you get where you eventually want to go. Not only does he have a great breadth of knowledge in terms of style, mechanics, music theory, Harold's also just an extremely warm and patient teacher. He's helped me a lot in terms of developing my understanding of the fretboard, of music theory in relation to jazz, of chord voicings; and I think he's a wonderful resource for anyone that wants to become a better guitarist.

Having studied guitar at several universities with multiple instructors. Harold’s level of mastery on the instrument, as well as his teaching methods, are as good (and in my opinion better) than some of the education I received at the college level. Plus, he’s a great guy and fun to be around! Would highly recommend

Excellent teacher. Very knowledgeable and to the point. He is able to approach players on varying levels of experience with ease. He's also a fantastic musician as evidenced by his playing, arranging and conducting skills. Very humble.
