As a self-employed musician and commercial music composer, my passion for music has been a driving force since my high school years. Self-taught on the guitar, I honed my skills through dedication and determination, which led me to receive a partial scholarship as a vocal studies major at my local community college's esteemed music program. Immersed in music theory, guitar technique, performance, and voice, I've cultivated a versatile skill set that has fueled my decade-long journey traveling around the Southeastern United States, sharing my music with audiences far and wide. From crafting melodies to harmonizing, music is not just my professionāit's my way of life.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst, weāll get familiar with the basic anatomy of the guitar and some historical background on how and where we got the instrument to its present form. After discussing your wants and expectations with learning how to play, weāll devise a goal-oriented, needs-based approach to successfully completing your lessons.
Lesson 11+We will use what weāve gone over the previous lessons and apply that to learning whole songs, instrumental pieces and other music youād like to learn.
Lesson 4-10Weāll start learning about techniques that will help us with chord progressions and sustaining notes in the major and minor scales.
Lesson 2-3The second lesson, weāll learn a few scales and some formations on the guitar. Third lesson, weāll circle back and review what weāve learned from our first two lessons, and apply it to learning how to play chords and their various formats in the major and minor keys.
