Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first step is to do an evaluation of where the student is and where he wants to be. Then we will make a plan to accomplish those goals. In addition we will start looking at some of the basic techniques and strategies to understand how the Guitar works and what he/she will learn. Then initial practice assignments will be made focusing on dexterity control.
Lesson 11+We will start focusing on minor and seventh open chords using folk songs as Sean’s of practicing. We will complete our note reading studies on all six strings then we’ll start looking at intermediate techniques like strumming and simple finger style songs. Barr chords will come later.
