About your guitar coach
I grew up playing the piano, starting at 6 years old. I started playing the guitar and singing at 15 years old and this passion led me to get my B.A. in Music Performance from Florida Atlantic University. Since then I have played in multiple bands, written over 8 songs that are out on all major platforms and have taught hundreds of people how to play many different instruments! My teaching business is located in San Francisco, teaching piano, guitar, bass guitar, voice and drums.

Dan knows how to turn those "Oh no, I messed up again" moments into "Oops, I just composed a new masterpiece" moments. His positivity and encouragement are like a magic wand that turns every wrong note into a happy accident. He’s got the patience of a saint and the wit of a comedian, all wrapped up in a piano teacher package.
He’s a serious musical maestro with not just piano, but vocals and the guitar as well. Dan is patient, knowledgeable, and always ready with a clever analogy to explain even the trickiest concepts.
If you’re even considering piano lessons (or singing/guitar), Dan is your go-to guru. He’s the real deal – musical mentor, laughter-inducer, and all-around awesome human being. I’d give him 10/5 stars if I could!

Dan’s awesome and probably one of the best teachers I’ve ever worked with. He cares about what you want to learn and is extremely patient. There’s never a dull moment working with him and, as a beginner, I’ve been able to get to a point where I’m confident playing in front of my friends. Dan is great at connecting with his students, meeting them where they’re at, and a helping them to stay accountable with their growth. So far I’ve really appreciated how his lessons incorporate music theory and practicing fun songs in a casual and easy to follow way. His sessions are well organized and I learn something new every week.
