I am a PGA specialized professional in Teaching & Coaching and board certified sport psychology consultant. I have been a PGA of America member since 2011 and teaching for close to 10 years. I have worked at many upscale clubs in the Met section at such roles as shop assistant, assistant and teaching professional. I have played in local PGA sanctioned events and am working to be certified as Golf fitness trainer by National Academy of Sport Medicine. I have the ultimate goal within a couple years of achieving the status of Master PGA golf professional in Teaching & Coaching. I also have developed a benchmark for sport psychology based on Individual Zone of Optimal Functioning for a golfer to obtain their ideal zone

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst I rate each player with an inverted rating system and my benchmark on how to get the fundamentals of 14 checkpoints of the swing. This leads to our lesson plan.
Lesson 11+Playing the golf of your dreams as we are working on skill building.
Lesson 4-10Improved fundamentals, goals being set and having more fun while improving.
Lesson 2-3Refining and going over the benchmark recommendations.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonFirst I got over GAS which stands for Grip, Aim and Set-up. That will build a solid foundation for everything else to go smoothly.
Lesson 11+Same as above, but definitely improving in scoring and overall fundamentals. Along with course management. Recommendation for my sport psychology benchmark in finding the golfers Ideal Zone of Optimal Functioning.
Also, goal setting and motivation techniques with ball striking and shaking if shots for control of ball flight.
Lesson 4-10It depends on the benchmark and what recommendation was given for you initial criteria.
Lesson 2-3I have a fundamentals benchmark that I use for all new students. It rates the fundamentals based around 24 preferences that get rated 1-4 with for being the best. This leads to the correct lesson plan based on your score.
What you need to bringAt least a 7 iron until after the first lesson.
What I can bringYou should bring at least a 7 iron to the first lesson as it is an easier club to his and works well for all skill levels
